Waterproof LED Watch

For those of you who like LED watches by Tokyoflash however cannot exactly find out how to tell time on them, the Guru Watch is the perfect choice. This cool waterproof LED watch is a project of Black Dice. The thing I like about it is that it tells time using LEDs – so it’s also great for those who are sick & tired of traditional hand-watch designs. The Guru Watch has a one-of-a-kind look; on the other hand, it functions much like any other model by letting its user set the date & program alarms. As I mentioned, it’s waterproof (up to 50 m) and can also be easily programmed to display a custom message, but with a ten character limit (unfortunately – I hate limits!). Waterproof LED watches are becoming increasingly more popular and creative designers have begun to take action. So don’t act all surprised to see LED watches surpass not only mechanical, but digital watches as well within the next decade. And of course, do not act all surprised if you are all sporting this watch in the next several years.

The Ultimate Sports Watch

The Tima PulsWatch is unquestionably the very best sports watch for those with a hankering for all gadgets sci-fi and active-lifestyle-related. This simple gadget was first introduced five years ago. But in 2011 it was taken to the whole next level with the PulsWatch technology. A project of Julien Bergignat, this ultimate sports watch was designed in collaboration with Jonathan Cohlmeyer. He is a very famous interactive designer from Sheridan College. Jonathan contacted Julien when he came across the Tima concept since he required a watch with an extra-large screen in order to display his innovative interface. Many consider it to be the ultimate social sports tracker. Even though still a concept, when produced it would help set aims and quests, monitor exercises and share results.

Cool LED Watch Design

Just like cell phones, timepieces do a lot more than tell the time nowadays and designs have to truly reflect this fact – so check out the LED Bars Lady concept watch. It’s just like a piece of fashion jewelry – in other words, it doesn’t look like a real watch at first sight. But that’s exactly what I like about it. The decorative aspect allows you to look far beyond the standard purpose of a hand watch. Designed Laszl (famous designer from Hungary), this watch/bracelet is made from semi translucent plastic and LED lights that are visible only when active. The LED light on the right is the minute and the LED light on the left hand side is the hour. This cool watch can be found in a couple of color combinations - white with lights LED lights and black featuring red LED lights. Which one is your favorite?
